John Parker understands and appreciates the design heritage unique to North Carolina. With more than 20 years of experience in coastal design, his custom homes appear on Wrightsville Beach, Figure Eight Island, Bald Head Island and other exceptional communities along the southeastern shore.

John brings a personal understanding of each client's needs and lifestyle to every project. He thoroughly evaluates a site's context and characteristics and designs to express that individuality. Skilled across architectural styles, John works closely with quality contractors, knowledgeable of the methods and materials key to coastal construction.

His expertise and interests often call him to uncommon projects. At present, John is the premier architect for the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum on Hatteras Island and The Core Sound Waterfowl Museum on Harkens Island.
