Landfall
The client requested that the design reflect the “Low Country”
characteristics of coastal Carolina. Set on a bluff overlooking the
Intracoastal Waterway, the design evolved from a close interaction
between the architect, client and builder, Wright Holman Construction.
Specific period detailing includes a wrap around porch with fluted
columns, exterior dentil moldings and oversized brick with grapevine
joints. The arched brick loggia incorporates a six car garage for
the client’s collection of antique automobiles. |
